2012 - Present

At VSCO, a one year old startup, I work with a team of engineers on developing VSCO Grid a minimalist publishing platform that allows users to post and share photos. Grid was built on top of a custom PHP framework and uses Ember.js, MongoDB and utilizes a responsive design optimized for desktop, tablet and mobile. I also created HTML webviews used in the iPhone app VSCO Cam and maintain the front-end code of the company’s responsive marketing website. Wrote casper.js unit tests for JavaScript components.

While at meltmedia Interactive I lead the BioOncology front-end web site mobilization. The goal was to provide a complete feature list of the desktop site to mobile users. I rewrote several flash components into JavaScript, worked closely with the design team to develop mobile solutions for desktop patterns.

DC Shoes

I worked on the DC Shoes redesign with a team of four engineers at Terralever.

One of the prominent features on the site are large image-rich callouts that highlight articles, athletes and more. We decided to generate these black and white images client side using canvas and fall back to css filters in Internet Explorer.
